Hi, I’m Michael
I build websites and run the marketing behind them, from San Luis Obispo.
My interest in technology started with music: recording on a small 4-track, learning audio engineering, building computers. That curiosity about how things work led me into digital marketing.
I spent nearly ten years in medical marketing, then expanded into analytics for local businesses and larger brands. I’ve lived internationally, but the Central Coast has been home since 2011. My wife and I are raising our family here.
What every project shares.
Foundations firstPage speed, mobile, and tracking come before anything decorative.
Built to be foundLocal search setup from day one, not added later.
Yours to keepA platform you can manage. You own the domain, hosting, analytics, and code.
Measured by phone callsThe metric isn’t traffic. It’s calls, forms, and booked work.
Outside of work.
I’m the lead singer of the indie rock band Carbon City Lights, and I run Venia Mastering Studio, mastering records for artists, labels, and film and TV.
